The Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Holy Virtues
In Spring 2010 we'll be doing a study entitled Tales of Vice and Virtue: The Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Holy Virtues. Each lesson is a stand-alone lesson. Bring your friends and join us for a great kick-off to your Thursday mornings each week, 6:30 - 7:30 a.m. For more information pick up a packet at the Information Center table.
Life is a day by day battle for our souls. Our constant challenge is to resist the forces of spiritual inertia and seek opportunities to grow and develop as authentic men—men who reflect the character of the Ultimate Man, Jesus Christ. None of us can go it alone. To that end, we invite you to join the All Saints Men’s Ministry and discover the blessings of friendship and real brotherhood in the presence of our brother, friend, and Lord, Jesus Christ.
The All Saints Men’s Ministry is all about men who want to grow in their relationship with Christ and with each other. It is truly a ministry to men, by men, and for men, brothers together in authentic Christian community, friendship, and fellowship. Men united in a lifelong adventure of spiritual transformation. Men who want to grow as disciples to serve their families, church and community in whatever role the Lord calls them—friends, husbands, fathers, laborers, leaders, and representatives of Christ.
We are convinced that God has called us to live in sacrificial relationships of mutual love and service with our spiritual brothers. Moreover, it is a bedrock principle that we become spiritually transformed within authentic Christian community. Therefore, the All Saints Men’s Ministry is fundamentally based on our identity as brothers in Christ.

We come together as brothers in Christ at:
weekend retreats
a weekly Bible study
monthly breakfasts
These are times for fun and fellowship, but we also focus on:
hearing and responding to the clear teaching of God’s word
encouraging and spurring one another on in love and service of the Lord
building significant relationships with one another
Men’s Retreats
Each year we hold a Fall Retreat, where guys get away for a night and day to hear teaching, to be renewed in their faith, and to connect with other guys just like themselves. Many of the significant relationships between men at All Saints have been forged on these men’s retreats. We also get away twice a year for backpacking trips to the NC mountains. The next trip is scheduled for early May.
Men’s Bible Study
The Men’s Bible study is a weekly rallying point for the men of All Saints to gather as brothers, to study God’s word, and to pray together. The Bible study meets on Thursday mornings from 6:30 - 7:30 AM and will be led by Rev Steve Breedlove.
