Calendar of Campaign Events:

Our official campaign has ended, and we raised $1.2 million in pledges! Our goal was to raise 2 million, and still we are so incredibly thankful for those who continue to give and pledge toward our future home. If you would like to give towards this purpose, you can do so HERE. Please note that it is for the Building Fund.

Our Sunday numbers continue to increase. We are averaging 225 – 275 people in worship each Sunday – that’s similar to our Easter service crowds! We recognize our need for more worship space to accommodate our growing church family.

We are also in need of a space that is truly ours to call home. While we are grateful for the space provided by Five Oaks Seventh-Day Adventist, our ability to do ministry there is limited. Because we share the building, there are strict constraints on our use of it and the times we can access it: namely, Sunday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and Wednesday mornings. With our growing church and growing ministries, we’d love to find a permanent place for that growth to continue: a place where we can use the space throughout the week for classes and services and local missions, where we can be rooted in a community.

Our Building and Relocation Team has been actively meeting. They are beginning to identify parcels of land, commercial buildings, and other church buildings around Durham that we could potentially buy.

You can help us! Please be on the lookout for the following:

  • land (3-4 acres, depending on location/parking)

  • a commercial space we could convert to worship/office space

  • a church that could accommodate us (and our growing numbers)

Our ideal location would be within the area highlighted on this map:

What’s next?

Thank you to those who participated in our Feasibility Study Survey. With the help of our consultant, we’ve analyzed the results, and feel hopeful about moving forward with a Capital Campaign. Our Vestry is currently deciding next steps with that. Stay tuned for more information.

In the meantime, please continue to keep an eye out for potential properties, and continue to pray for our Relocation Team, as we move forward with our research for a new space.

Over the next few weeks/months, we’ll be sharing more information with the congregation, as well as inviting you into the exciting process of finding our permanent home for All Saints Church
