Program overview

The All Saints Curacy is a two-year pastoral residency position, designed to mentor, train, and equip church leaders of tomorrow. Believing the local church, as God designed it, is the hope of the world, All Saints seeks to provide aspiring church leaders a healthy church environment to learn, grow, and practice ministry after completing their seminary degree.

Why consider our curacy?

Using the medical residency as a model for our program, Curates serve as pastoral residents in our church, and on our staff. Working alongside our Rector and Executive Pastor, they will have the opportunity to shadow, learn, and practice ministry alongside seasoned clergy. The Curacy is a full-time, paid position with full benefits. It offers a wide range of potential ministry opportunities suited to each Curate’s gifts, abilities, and eventual ministry focus, with multiple opportunities for mentorship available. In the final year of the Curacy, All Saints will help the Curate discern and plan for future employment in an Anglican parish. Both male and female applicants are considered for this position.

requirements

All Saints desires to select seminary students with “integrity of heart and skillful hands” (Psalm 78:70-72) to participate in this program. Applications will be accepted for students in the spring of their senior year of seminary. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to following Christ, ministry leadership ability, a heart for serving the local church, a desire to be ordained in the Anglican church, and academic excellence. The Curacy is a two-year position beginning in June, and ending in August.

Our first Curate will have a longer residency with us, beginning January 2024, and ending August of 2026.
